 இது கடலூர் (Buckingham Canal Cuddalore) பக்கிங்காம் கால்வாய்.

ஆமாம் ஆந்திராவில் தொடங்கி சென்னை,மாமல்லபுரம்,மரக்காணம், கடலூர்,பரங்கிப்பேட்டை,கொள்ளிடம் ,திருமுல்லைவாசல்,காரைக்கால் வரை பிரிட்டிஷ் இந்திய அரசால் வெட்டப்பட்ட கால்வாய் .

இடையே புதுவையில் பிரெஞ்ச் ஆட்சி இருந்ததால் அங்கு மட்டும் கிடையாது.

ஆனால் அதையும் கைப்பற்றி இந்த கால்வாயை வெட்டி இருப்பார்கள் அவர்கள் ஆட்சி தொடர்ந்திருந்தால்.

சென்னையில் இருந்து படகு வழியாகவே கடலூர் வரை வரலாம்.

கடல் பயணம் கூட ஆபத்தாக அமையலாம்.

ஆனால் கால்வாய் பயணம் எளிமையாக இருக்கும்.

(இங்கிலாந்து,பிரான்சு நாடுகளில் இதுபோல் கால்வாய்களில் படகு போக்குவரத்துகள் உண்டு)

  பக்கிங்காம் கால்வாய்  மீட்டெடுப்பு இயக்கம் தொடங்கி இதை வருங்காலங்களில் முடிக்கவும் முடியும்.

ஒரு 2000 கோடிகள் தேவைப்படும்.

சுற்றுலா துறை மேம்படும்.

 பக்கிங்காம் கால்வாய் பெயரை கூட இந்திய பெயருக்கு மாற்றலாம்.

I spoke about this in past september..

I said this because I thought to start a campaign to restore Buckingham canal

Now gov is focusing on it

There is necessity to restore this canal.

I don't have much knowledge in grouping people

If people come together

We can make this canal as picnic spot

We can have a short boat ride

Sideway walks.

Actually it will be a tourist spot.

I've a wide idea about it.

This canal is a gift 

(Today The Hindu newspaper wrote about the gov projects on restoring this canal )

I worry will these politicians will rightly use this huge amount (more than 1000 crores)
